With MonitorMagic a network administrator can monitor various objects like disks, services, performance counters, event logs, and so on. MonitorMagic uses monitors that correspond with these network devices for proactive monitoring Windows 2003, 2000, and NT servers and workstations.
Example: A network administrator could monitor for a specific event in an event log or the status of a critical service. When this monitor meets certain criteria (Example: Event 5781 or IIS Service Stopped) MonitorMagic would send an alarm or automatically restart the service.
Supports monitoring with and without agents: MonitorMagic is designed to leave a very small footprint on a network. For example: Say you have five servers you wish to monitor. You can install a MonitorMagic service on each server to monitor it's own server or you can install one MonitorMagic service and have it monitor all five servers.
