SmartQuota Enabled
SpaceGuard SRM is SmartQuota enabled, which allows for rapid deployment and mass quota reconfiguration. Using SmartQuota technology, you can quickly add new quota limits to all existing quota's based on a percentage of the current limits, regardless of the type of quota limit (absolute, relative to disk/directory). SmartQuota technology is completely transparent and automatically activated in SpaceGuard SRM.
Auto-Add quotas An Auto-Add quota removes the need to add a quota each time a directory is added. Each time a directory is created (inside a specified directory) a quota is set on that directory using a predefined policy or custom sizes/limits.
Quota enforcement The revoke access alarm action can be used to deny write access to the quota's directory for a single user or an entire group of users. When linked to a certain quota limit, SpaceGuard SRM will revoke the access rights by setting explicit 'Deny' write in the directory's ACL.
Email SMTP/MAPI SpaceGuard SRM now features complete Exchange integration through MAPI and SMTP. Using its own configurable profile, SpaceGuard SRM can send out MAPI email messages using an Exchange alias name as user target.
Multiple Notification
When managing a network pro-actively, it is of critical importance that administrators are notified before end-user operation is affected. SpaceGuard's notification engine gives you total freedom and flexibility to suit your organizational needs. All notification methods support custom scheduling and escalation settings. By combining multiple notifications, such as e-mail and pager/SMS you can define your own insurance policies for maximum performance, availability and security.
