SpaceGuard SRM supports multiple alarm actions used to notify an end user or network administrator of the status of a quota. Alarms can even be used to revoke the write access for a user or group.
The alarm actions are divided into 2 groups, notifications and corrective actions . Notifications are popup's, email messages, pager/sms messages, and event log messages. The command and revoke access actions are corrective that can be used to create a " hard" quota for users when they exceed their quota limit.
